With years of experience, Plus Transformer produces oil-immersed hermetic distribution transformers from 25 kVA to 25,000 kVA and oil-immersed power transformers from 2.5 MVA to 25 MVA at 66 kV voltage level.
We also take your requests for other transformer types and ratings and offer custom-built transformers.

Accessories
Accessories and technical data
Accessories used in the production of oil-immersed transformers and their technical data.

Hermetic transformer protection relay
Preferred for hermetic designs. The relay indicates gas release, oil temperature and the internal pressure of the tank. Used on transformers above 500 kVA. It has two contacts each for gas release, tank pressure and oil temperature.

Alcohol thermometer
The alcohol thermometer is used only to monitor the transformer oil temperature and has no contacts.

Dehydrating breather
Connected to the oil conservator; when the oil volume changes it captures the moisture in the air passing through it and prevents moisture from entering the oil. Its size depends on the oil and air volume.

Pressure relief valve
Preferred for hermetic designs. Protects the transformer tank against a sudden pressure rise. Mounted on the cover: if the tank reaches the set internal pressure, the valve opens, compensates the pressure by releasing oil and prevents the tank from rupturing, then closes automatically. Available with contacts on request.

Oil temperature thermometer with contacts
Has a maximum pointer showing the highest oil temperature reached, reset with a button at the bottom. Oil temperature can be read up to 120 °C. Two adjustable contacts; micro switch ratings 5 A 250 VAC or 0.2 A 250 VDC.

Magnetic oil level indicator
Used to monitor the oil level in the conservator. Level changes are shown on the gauge via a magnetically coupled float. The setting depends on the conservator diameter; versions with contacts are available on request.

Buchholz relay
Piped between the transformer tank and the oil conservator to protect the transformer against faults in its internal electrical equipment. Gas released from insulating materials collects in the chamber and pushes the float down, or a sudden oil surge moves the flap, operating the contacts. Two independent contacts for trip and alarm: 5 A 250 VAC or 0.2 A 250 VDC.
